What Are You Doing for God?
I challenge you today to ask yourself: What am I really doing for God in my life? Many of us desire God’s blessings, yet after receiving them, we forget Him or even turn away. Some will spend huge amounts promoting worldly entertainment—TV stations, radio shows, blogs—yet neglect the work of God. Remember, God sees everything. 1 Corinthians 3:19
The Foolishness of Human Beings Before God
Worldly Entertainment vs. God’s Work
TV stations pay artists to air their music or movies but charge churches a fortune for a 30-minute program. God is watching.
Some stations play worldly music for hours but hesitate to dedicate 10 minutes to songs that glorify Him without demanding money. God is watching.
Bloggers spend days writing about celebrities—their relationships, shoes, houses, and cars—but won’t write a single line about God’s glory. God is watching.
Children and Entertainment
Children sing every Davido and Wizkid hit and dance to shocky bobo, yet on Sundays, they remain silent in church. God is watching.
Social Media and Vanity
Many chase likes by posting revealing photos online. Your body is dust and will return to dust; your nakedness won’t matter when God takes His breath. Why waste your life on vanity when it does nothing for eternity? God is watching.
Self-Pride and Wealth
Expensive drinks and flashy lifestyles impress people, but they do nothing for your soul. You may spend millions on champagne yet refuse to sponsor God’s work or promote Christian music. God sees your pride and will hold you accountable.
Selfishness vs. Generosity
Some sponsor women for selfish desires yet give only small amounts to God’s work. Some give jobs to strangers but let their own relatives struggle. God is watching.
"Give thanks to the Lord for He is good: His love endures forever."
Advice: Bear Good Fruit
Jesus said: “Any tree that does not bear good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire” (Matthew 7:19). If your life isn’t producing good fruit for Jehovah, start making a change today. Align your life with God’s purpose, support His work, and live in a way that reflects His glory.
Your actions today reflect your heart tomorrow. Use your life wisely—God blesses those who honor Him.
