So many people use to call this drug indocid in Nigeria but the real way of it being pronounced is Indocin. If we should get deeper, Many Nigerian know this drug as poison to animals which is very true, it has proven great in killing rats and other domestic animals but below is the real use of Indocin of which os the purpose it was produced.
Indomethacin is used to relieve pain, swelling, and joint stiffness caused by arthritis, gout, bursitis, and tendonitis. It is also used to relieve pain from various other conditions. This medication is known as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).
This brings to conclusions that Indocin doesn’t kill human but kills some animals. However a source who isn’t expert claims indocid can kill human if care is not taken as follows “indocid can be used by human, it is an analgesic it can be used for body pain. But mind you indocid can kill human as it kills rat so one need to be careful wen using it
1. Do not loose the capsule before using it
2.Ulcer patients should not use it
3.Overdose should not be used and
4.It shld not be used for babies
Indocid kill rat because the capsules were removed before spreading it on whatever food, and overdose were used.. If this things were done to human, indocid might kill human
N:B not only indocid, it is advisible not to loose any capsulated drug before usage
