Planned Independent Day Protest

Activists under the #RevolutionNow umbrella have called for nationwide anti-government protests on Oct. 1 to denounce alleged poor governance. The protest will coincide with Nigeria’s Independence Day. In Lagos, protesters are to gather from 10:00 in the Ojota. Protest in other major cities, including Abuja, is likely.
