Foodstuffs price drop in Nigeria in September 2017. Over 2 years now there is nothing good to talk about food items price in Nigeria, almost all food stuff got price increase just few weeks when importation of some of the food stuff that can be produced locally was ban by federal Government. Since then Nigerians has really face terrible hunger as the prices food stuffs maintain rapid routine increase.

Few months ago the price of rice were to hits N20,000 – N25,000 per bag. The price of Garri which is one of the most consumed food in the country hits N1000 – N1200. You can check the price of Garri in different Nigeria states and cities before now here. The unbearable situation left so many Nigeria hungry and give opportunities to massive suffering of the poor.
We which to share the god news with you, since the price of Rice, Oil, Garri and some other food stuffs has started decreasing in price. Rice which was 20k to 25k for a bag is now N11,000 – N13,000. Garri maintain a price of 1k – 1.2k for a very long time is now N600 per robber. This prices are updated from Lagos markets. It could be more cheaper in some other cities that are not much popular as Lagos. Also not that some other foodstuffs such as melom known as Egusi, Red Oil, Tomatoes, Banga, Pepper, Groundnut, Coin, Ogbono etc has drop in price as well from the price they were before now.
At the time of writing this post some food items are now becoming very affordable and still selling better in the country, as we don’t know what will happen next and still not praying negatively it will be of good interest and better opportunities for some of you to stuck you home with needed food items.
