I Recently visited my state of origin to get local government of origin done for something important I needed to use it for. Just like you are looking for the information on how to have this done so was I when I came to that post, that is how I got to know about InformationHood. I followed steps there and it was so easy for me even than I thought. Let’s get in now.
On my visit the money what I spend was
N400 Naira for passport, you can get your passport anywhere. Note that you have to get that done before going to your local government. If you already had passport then go with it.
N2,000 for the certificate, this is the amount you are required to pay for the certificate. You will be ask to go pay this into the local council account at unity bank mostly. However it maybe differ in different places. The whole process isn’t more than 30minutes and you are done.
Some cases where you couldn’t speak your language you may be required to be identified by your community chairman, councilor or leader such as king etc.
In conclusion to how much you are going to spend to have your local government of origin done which some people could as well refer to as state of origin cost ₦2,000 this is the certificate fee. You then have to get your transportation and passport. Note that any background passport is acceptable but try making red or white.

Where to go to get certificate or Origin
Goto your location Government Secretariat and request for your state of origin. If you don’t get it, this means you are going back to your village oh. However if you know you LASION office in where you are you can go there for inquiry if it can be done for you there.
