Gov. Ambode Asked Teachers To Increase Performance & Be Self-Disciplined
According to report, the Lagos State Governor Ambode, also urged school administrators to rededicate themselves to the job and instil discipline in their teaching staff and the pupils, promising that his administration would continue to prioritise teachers’ welfare, a statement said on Thursday.
He Included that primary education was the fulcrum of development of the sector. Stating that his administration knew the importance of teachers in the implementation of sustainable educational policies, which he stated was the reason why teachers are accorded recognition by his government, promising that his administration would ensure that their welfare and good condition of service are not taking for granted from time to time.
