DJ Sumbody Amapiano Hitmaker dies in Johannesburg, South Africa
The untimely death of music producer and Amapiano pioneer Dj Sumbody has caused consternation in South Africa.
According to Sumsounds Music management, the DJ died in the early hours of Sunday, November 20, 2022
Family spokesperson Mmanake Mokitimi confirmed the reports in a press statement on Sunday, saying that investigations are currently ongoing to determine the cause of death.

Around 5 a.m. Sunday, the late music producer posted a video of himself dancing in a club on his Instagram page, according to his family.
However, it is unclear whether the video was recorded on the same day.
One of his friends and colleagues confirmed the death in a Twitter post in which he shared photos of them together.
