Cross River state university of technology(CRUTECH), is a state owned higher institution located in Calabar,a local government area of cross River state,southern Nigeria. The university was established in 2002 after the merging of three higher institution.
The college of Education,The polytechnic of Calabar and Ibrahim Babangida college of agriculture. it offers degree courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
Cross River state university of technology (CRUTECH) undergraduate admission requirement are given below. The minimum entry requirements for admission into cross River state university of technology (CRUTECH) are O/level, SSCE, GCE, NECO credit level passes in five(5) subjects including English language, mathematics and one relevant science subjects selected from the following group(Biology, Health science,Agricultural science, physics and Chemistry). obtained at not more than two sittings.
Candidates are also to note that there are other requirements that may be specific to a faulty and /or a programme. Candidates applying to Cross River state university(CRUTECH)are expected to sit for the current JAMB examinations and attain the prescribed cut off marks in it. And this is a statutory requirement for entry into Nigeria university,polytechnic,and college of education.
However, cross River state university of technology conducts screening exercise for all candidates seeking admission into the university and candidates may not be admitted without fulfilling the demands of the screening exercise.
