Nigerians Complain About Telecom Disruptions

In recent days, several Nigerian telecom networks have been experiencing serious connectivity problems. The issue appears widespread, with many users reporting slow internet, dropped calls, and failed SMS deliveries across multiple regions.

Network Problems Hit Delta State the Hardest

According to reports, Delta State seems to be one of the most affected areas. Residents in Warri and Ughelli noted that the situation fluctuates — sometimes improving slightly, but mostly remaining unstable.

Both MTN and Glo subscribers have reported the most severe disruptions. Airtel, on the other hand, appears to be performing slightly better, though some users still experience occasional slowdowns.

Network Stable in Lagos for Now

Interestingly, users in Lagos have reported no major connectivity issues. Calls, data, and messaging services seem stable across all major networks in the city. This contrast suggests the issue may be more regional than nationwide.

Not a SIM or Phone Problem

If you’re currently facing network problems, don’t panic — the issue is not caused by your phone or SIM card. It’s a general network disruption affecting multiple service providers across different states.

Experts believe that ongoing maintenance or technical challenges within the telecom infrastructure might be responsible for the poor service.
