So many people outside and inside Delta wants to know how things are going inside Delta the update of the state about the coronavirus situation. On this post I want to quickly drop update here in Delta about the virus and activeness of the Governor so far.
Currently there is no confirmed case of Coronavirus in the state however there’s still no quick to do test center or better easy means of test in the state such as Warri, Ughelli etc. This is to say there’s no place for one who suspects coronavirus to easily go for diagnoses.
Places such as parks and some bigger centers that were supposed to have test tools, yet none is provided to make testing for the coronavirus in Delta state an easy to do thing in help of detecting coronavirus. several some person were seen sneezing and coughing around some communities which could be symptoms of Coronavirus or others illness such as fever and malaria however no way to have them tested.
Road travel from the most infected state known as Lagos and other places were still open and people from Lagos are coming inside the state without any restrictions or test done on them to protect the state from the virus.
Recently the Governor of Delta state Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa stop Asaba airport from working which could include Osubi Airport in Warri as well.
It was reported sometime on the news that the Governor has used the new hospital built in Asaba as isolation center for diagnoses of the Coronavirus.
Schools and business places had been closed within the state, the restriction of events is taking place in the state too. No fumigation has done within the state yet. Note that markets has been closed in the state till further notice.

Things have been recorded expensive since the semi lockdown begins in Delta. Note that movement within the state isn’t restricted which means people are still allowed to go out and travel within the state.
Conclusions: As for now Delta state is still considered Coronavirus free. But we need means of test for those with the symptoms to be tested easy. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa should kindly provide isolation centers around Warri which is one of the most populated city in Delta for quick test for those that have symptoms of Coronavirus around this area.
