Manchester City reportedly paid 37million pounds (48.96million dollars) for the 20 year old who was also part of Joachim Loew’s Germany team in the just concluded European Championships 2016.



Manchester City splashed the cash on England centreback, John Stones for a fee of around 47.5million pounds(61.64 million dollars) six year deal. Stones whose previous club was Everton is reported to be the second most expensive defender after David Luiz of Brazil who moved from Chelsea to PSG for 50million pounds in 2014.

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has identifed John Stones as the perfect fit to his possession based game.



Brazillian Hulk of Zenith Petersburg joined Chinese club Shanghai SIPG for a reportedly lofty sum of 55.8million Euros ($62million).

29 year old Hulk signed for Zenith from Porto in 2012 for 40 million Euros. He scored 56 goals in 97 appearances for Zenith and he was the top goal scorer in 2014/2015 season with 15 goals. He finished third last season.




Former Napoli forward, Higuain was snapped up by Juventus  after triggering his buyout clause of $98.89million.

Last season, Higuain scored a total of 36 Serie A goals in 35 appearances for Napoli who finished second behind Juventus. He joined Napoli from Real Madrid where he spent six years.




Manchester United splashed the cash to buy 23 year old Juventus player, Paul Pogba for a world record fee of 89million pounds($115.98million), thus breaking the previous record of €100million ($110.84 million) paid by Real Madrid to Tottenham for Welsh winger, Gareth Bale.

Pogba won 4 Serie A titles and 2 Coppa Italia with Juventus but was criticized after failing to shine in the Champions league final between Juventus and Barcelona

Pogba had previously played for Manchester United as an 18 year old . He even signed a three year deal with an option of extension with the then Sir Alex Ferguson team but found limited first team opportunities thus he decided to leave.
