300 people from ijora Community of Lagos received free medical treatment from Nigerian Navy.
Free Medical Treatment Rendered to Lagos Resident by Nigeria Navy
According to the Nigerian agency reports, the free medical treatment is part of the 61st anniversary celebration of Nigerian Navy.
These program included free consultation, HIV/AIDS screening and provision of drugs to patients.
Surgeon Commander Ugowchi Nzeribe of Western Naval Command, the Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Adm. Ibok-Ette Ibas, said the exercise was part of Navy’s corporate social responsibility.
In addition he included that the exercise enable Nigeria Navy hoped to enhance the health status of Nigerians and improve the civil/military relationship.
